Many times during blood collection, the phlebotomist is faced with situations that require several punctures to collect blood from the patient.
The new Multiple Puncture functionality of the Greiner Bio-One eTrack app allows the phlebotomist to record the number and reason for performing multiple punctures during the procedure. The options available in the app are:
Reason
- Difficulty of access
- Insufficient volume
- Arising from the procedure
Number of punches
- 2
- 3
- 4
- +4
This feature can be enabled or disabled on the Dashboard.
